About me and myself 

Sometimes it is hard to introduce yourself because you know yourself so well that you do not know where to         start with so let me give a try to see what kind of image you have about me through my self-description. I hope       that my impression about myself and your impression about me are not so different. Here it goes.

Who i am ?

I am Ankit Dua. I live in capital of India, New Delhi. I have been using and doing this computer stuff from around 8 years if memory serves correctly.

I was born in New Delhi. I have spent my entire childhood over there only, schooling and college too. As I fall into April, it makes me Aries, a Water Bearer sign, mostly calm. I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. I like to read, I like to write; I like to think, I like to dream; I like to talk, I like to listen. I like to see the sunrise in the morning, I like to see the moonlight at night; I like to feel the music flowing on my face, I like to smell the wind coming from the ocean. I like to look at the clouds in the sky with a blank mind, I like to do thought experiment when I cannot sleep in the middle of the night. I like flowers in spring, rain in summer, leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. I like to sleep early, I like to get up late; I like to be alone, I like to be surrounded by people. I like country’s peace, I like metropolis’ noise; I like the beautiful west lake in Hangzhou, I like the flat cornfield in Champaign. I like delicious food and comfortable shoes; I like good books and romantic movies. I like the land and the nature, I like people. And, I like to laugh.

My Interests

I always wanted to be a great computer expert and a busieness man and I also wanted to be a great psychologist, like William James or Sigmund Freud, who could read people’s mind. Of course, I am nowhere close to these people, yet. I am just someone who does some teaching, some research, and some writing. But my dream is still alive. this is a brief introduction of myself. If you are interested in knowing more, read my articles or take a look at my gallery page. Do not expect too much, and keep your sense of humor. Yes I do have interests beyond the bits and bytes of computer and the list not small at all. So here it goes….

Sports

I have always been good at sports. I like playing soccer, running and swimming (also SCUBA diving and diving). I have played in many sport tournaments (football cups, handball cups, races) in which together with my team, I have won many trophys. My favorite intelectual game is chess, but I have never played it professionaly.

Music

 Music is one of the most powerful effect to make soul in the deepest levels. I am a music-buff. Basically I like all kinds of music. My favorite music band is Owl City. I think it is the best group on the earth. I love them, but I also like other groups like The Doors, The Baeatles, The Rolling Stones, some Polish rock groups and many others. Apart from that I’m really fascinated by Scottisch bagpipe songs, and one of my favorite albums is the „Braveheart” soundtrack.

Movies & Television

I don’t watch much of them. Whenever I am free, I love to watch comedies, martial-arts movies, romantic movies and cartoon movies too. I don’t watch science fictions much. Some of the most favorites movies are “Mohbbaten”, “DDLJ” , “Baby’s day out” , “Nimo” , “ 50 First Dates”.

I don’t watch television much. Whenever I am watching it, you can catch me watching music channels, news, Dicovery Channel , Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. I don’t watch daily soaps much. Yes game shows, talk shows, music shows, definitely are a no-miss for me.

•Reading

I love fantasy literature. I read fantasy books and magazines, watch fantasy films and play role playing games in which fantasy world is used as background. Once every two weeks, I meet with my friends and we play „Middle Earth”. I’m the master of the game and they are players. We play about five hours sesion. It’s a lot of fun. „Middle Earth” is a game based on Tolkien’s books. I chose it, becouse I love everything that J.R.R. Tolkien wrote. He is my favorite writer, but I like other writers as well, for example Piers Anthony or Robert Jordan.

How I Spend My Time

 When I am not taking classes or studying, you can find me sitting in front of my pc surfing the net. I love to stumble upon sites of my interest. Mostly they all are related to humor, jokes, poetry or random articles about life, love. I love to read so it’s a good way for me of spending my time.

If I don’t feel like sitting on pc or doing nothing at all, than I go to Café Coffee Day and sit over there, sipping hot or cold coffee, whichever I feel like having. Again they have a good collection of magazines so I try them once for sure. If wont be reading than will just sit and watch people. It’s the best thing to do. There is always something happening in front of you to make you smile.

If I am not on internet or not in Café Coffee Day than look for me in some park sitting on the bench. That time, I am just with my self, thinking about myself, what I have done, planning about future or sometimes just sitting with myself doing and thinking nothing at all.

You must be thinking up till now, all of the things that I have told, I didn’t reveal anything about me being with my friends, hanging out with them or anything like that. Well let me clear all the doubts, I love to meet new people and make friends and I have a long list of them. I am lucky that I have so many people who love me so much .Whenever I get time, I am with some of my closest pals. But if no one is around, well I told you where I shall be?

Where I See Myself In Future?

Future is really something which can’t be defined and bounded in any boundaries. Its certainly can’t be decided too. Yes I have some plans and goals that I have decided for me but it's better to keep them a secret for now. Who knows where life takes me? Yes whatever I shall be doing, I guarantee you that it will be with atmost passion and dedication.

My Mantra for Life

My life and my self are not really limited to one thing or aspect. I love to learn new things, expanding my knowledge in every aspect. Life is so short and this world is very big. There is so much to learn. My mantra for life is that believe in your self , stay focused and keep going. If you know what you are doing is not wrong than don’t be afraid from doing it ever.Have faith in yourself and on God.Value your relations and people in them. Help those who need you. Give smiles and spread happiness as much you can and it will come back to you in doubles.
